IKEA is looking for our Digital stars of tomorrow! Do you want to kick-start your career and join our Thesis Program at IKEA Digital? We are super excited to start the Thesis programme for the second time around and to bring in students to do your thesis with us! The start date of the internship will be mid-January 2024.

We are looking for you who is currently a student at the university or any similar higher education within digital and are about to write your thesis spring of 2024. You need to be a Swedish resident and connected to a university in the country. You are excited about new technology, and innovative ways of working and want to be part of shaping the future of IKEA!

The thesis is based in Malmö, Sweden. We need you to be able to commute to the office at least 50% of the time (primarily living in the Skåne Area). For FAQ and more information please visit https://join.ingka.com/student.

The Assignment:

Setting up “content” ready for the future: structuring content for contextual use in an omnichannel world.

Partnering up with the Content Strategy team.

Imagine producing content that is structured as Lego blocks. You could reuse it and create endless constructions with that content.

The focus will be on:

Knowledge domain modeling: mapping key concepts and relationships in a domain to lay the groundwork for content structure right from the start of omnichannel content development.
Content modeling: identifying and defining common content types by breaking them down into parts and mapping the relationships between them.

You’re probably studying Communications and strategy, Experience Design, Engineering or Data Science, or something similar.
